Home Away from Home - Winter 2020

After less than two weeks at home unpacking from our recent trip to the Middle East, we were repacking to head to Florida for the winter. After snow and wintry temperatures at Halloween, we were blessed with sun and mild weather at Christmas time that made loading the motor home a pleasure. This trip is a simple one: mostly in Florida with a Caribbean cruise we can drive to and a stop in the Carolina's to visit family on the way home. When we first retired we wandered more in the southern US in the winter, but after finding two perfect spots to linger, we bought a campsite in Titusville and are happy that it is there whenever we are in need of a thaw. It has become our home away from home.
