Around the world in 84 days...

Wayne travel blog
Where would you go and what would you do if you finally had the time and money to take a long trip? Would you scale Mt. Everest, or dive to the depths of the ocean? Is your idea of a dream vacation relaxing on the beach, or high-speed sightseeing at all the favorite tourist destinations? Do you travel alone, in a group, or with that one special person? Will you plan your trip or "play it by ear?" These, along with many other questions, are what I plan to answer for myself by the end of my journey. I hope to share with you my experiences while on voyage, and also hope to answer some of these questions along the way.

To give you a bit of background, I had previously worked in a job where travel was the norm; hotels became my home away from home; and airport navigation was essential. Now, I have freed myself from the corporate chains and have cashed in all those earned frequent flier and hotel points into a trip of a lifetime. What will I do when I return? I'm not sure. Fortunately, I have time to think about it...
