When does a journey start? In my case it is a case of "choose a date and I will tell you where I was- maybe".
Most travelers start young and burn out - they settle down and do a 'normal life' - whatever that may be. This is an excerpt from a continuing voyage on a ship called life. A rather appropriate metaphor as I spent most of my early adult life as a ship's officer.
