Monday, April 26, 2010 Wow. For what was unquestionably one of the greatest weekends I have ever enjoyed, it was also one of the most emotional times I can remember – and I’ve got no doubt ANZAC Day weekend 2010 is one I’ll never forget. Feb 24, 2010 - Vung Tau

From HCMC we veer off the beaten track a little and visit Rio in Vietnam: Vung Tau. The town boasts a giant Jesus statue sitting on top of a hill and looking down over the ocean on one side and the town on the other. The walk up to the statue is absolutely gorgeous with small vistas looking out over the ocean at every corner and bright pink and white frangipani flowers. Apr 21, 2009 - the final countdown... in Vung Tau

well today is our final full day in Vung Tau, and man was it physical!! We woke up at 7.30 and then we were off on the bus at 8.30 and heading off to Nui Dat. There we went to the Orphanage and Elementary School. They were both very touching and great places. It was good to see that the Aussie Vetrans have helped out the Vietnamese in some way :) We then went off to some more tunnels, which i cannot remember the name of (oops!)But they were bigger than the Cu Chi Tunnels.
