Jan 16, 2008 - Back in Merida, and a trip to the hot springs at Tabay

After all our stenuous animal watching, we decided to spend this afternoon visiting the hot springs at Tabay, just outside Merida. We'd been told that if we passed the 2 public sets of pools, we'd eventually get to a small natral pool in the forest - so we set off to find it. Two hours of uphill walking (and lots of Darius complaining!) later, we gave up and made our way back to the first, easy-to-find pool!
