Oct 1, 2012 - Story, Wyoming

Today was another travel day, we drove from Crow Agency, Montana to Story, Wyoming. A much shorter drive, about 100 miles. We can not believe all the wildlife we are seeing in this area. We saw hundreds of Pronghorn antelope along the way. When we arrived in Story we saw deer walking down the street and turkeys everywhere. This tiny town is like living in a storybook fantasy. We just returned from taking our two friends out for a fine Mexican dinner and will relax in their nice home for the rest of the evening. I will fill in some of our weeks activities on this entry sometime tomorrow. We had a great week in South Dakota but are happy to be on the way west again. Post in...

After a 185- mile drive from Columbus, Montana, we have enjoyed spending the afternoon and evening at the home of travel friends Rob and Denise in Story, Wyoming. Their nice home sits just east of the beautiful Big Horn Mountains and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on the way to Custer, South Dakota. Rob and Denise have provided "resort" amenities with an RV pad, power and a sewage connection...and free WiFi!! We met these two fine folks when they briefly visited Red Rock this summer and took advantage of their kind offer...
