Jul 2, 2016 - Just chillin'
Saturday, 7/2 – same as yesterday except I sat in the sun & was reading & didn’t realize quite how long I was out – sunburned tonight! Dan is off fishing – has to catch one today to make it worthwhile for his license……No one has caught anything today altho’ Dan had a really big one on, but lost it! He is back out trying & I am finishing up the blog – will be caught up except for pictures……...civilization tomorrow!

Jul 1, 2016 - Boysen State Park
Friday, 7/1 – happy July! – Dan bought a 2-day fishing license so we are set for the next 2 days – he gets up early & is gone before I even wake up. Today he was back about 9:30 with 2 fish and one was a WALLEYE, the other was a rainbow trout!! Woohoo – dinner! He had another walleye up on shore, but it escaped and flipped back into the water as he fell down trying to get it! He has breakfast & a little “rest” and then heads back out fishing! Got some great pictures of big horn sheep near where he was fishing. I am reading, doing a little...

Jun 30, 2016 - Thermopolis
Thursday, 6/30 – surprise this morning – we can’t use the Keurig when we don’t have power, so we have instant coffee and café mocha – the café mocha is really good. I was boiling water this morning & went to open the café, it comes in plastic containers with a paper lid that is always puffed up because of the altitude……. well, when I pulled it open, powdered coffee exploded out ALL OVER my face and jammies! What a mess & we are trying to save water so not many showers – I smelled like cocoa all day! We are heading off to explore...

I got an early start, well for this trip. The only freeway I have driven on was I35 getting north of Fort Worth. The Highways that I am choosing are two lanes and in the area where our government is ‘Putting People to Work’ the highway is reduced to one lane with a pilot car and flagman (flag woman) or a red light. Many opportunities to take a short nap and the person behind you is always helpful, letting you know when it is time to move with their horn.
