Sometimes when I get to sit down at night to record the excitement of the day, it seems like the start of the day was so long ago!! So this morning, we had a quick breakfast of fried eggs and toast at Penny's diner in Rawlins. Today’s ride to Riverside, WY was an amazing 67-mile ride with only 2,218’ of ascent. Today was amazing because there was no snow, no rain, no hail, no headwinds, no mountain pass or Continental Divide, and the sun was out with beautiful white clouds. Wow! Riverside, WY, population 53 and elevation 7,142’ is known as the Gateway to the Sierra Madres. The town is popular for hunting, fishing and outdoor activities.
