Finally made it to Wyoming on our way to Montana. This part of Wyoming must have an excess of antelope because we saw a lot of them along the roadside. They sure are beautiful animals. Drove up to Devil’s Tower to check it out. I think I’ve wanted to see it since I saw Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Devil’s Tower is our nation’s first National monument. Teddy Roosevelt didn’t want the Tower to be exploited commercially, so he made it a National monument. Most Indians originally called it Bear Lodge, but it was renamed in 1875 because...
