A beautiful start to the morning as we listened to the gurgling water feature outside the window at our Warmshowers's host lovely home! Not in a hurry to leave, we had such a nice time here! But leave, we must. Mike, the host was up and waiting for us and we did the photo session for their guest book and rolled out the driveway. First stop McD's for our favorite quick breakfast Egg McMuffin! Love it because it has to be a healthy one, what can you do to an egg, cheese and a muffin that would make it unhealthy? And coffee! Day Seven: Destination - Around Wyoming Soundtrack: 96.5 FM After Nick's grandma stuffed us full yet again, we went looking around the area. Since Lonnie (Nick's grandma's husband) has lived here literally his entire life, he showed us things that most people don't know exist. The first stop was a volcanic rock formation. We hiked up a short ways and looked around. We found a bunch of quartz rocks that I'm bringing home for my mom, and Nick found a tennis ball sized piece of volcanic rock.
