Date: October 1, 2020 Weather: sunny Temperature: start 25º High 73º Wildlife count: chipmunk, squirrel, elk Year List: 332 Birds: Worked early, then attended the party for Mike N., who is leaving for Olympic NP. Drove out to Bar BC dude ranch to explore how much work has been done on the cabins and other structures that are over 100 years old, and we determined that due to Covid, nothing has been done. All are pretty much in a sad state of disrepair, and yet we know that restoration is not a priority in these times. So sad. However, we...

Said good-bye to Walt & Betty then walked up to the gate to open and close for them. Though there was snow up on Togwotee Pass, they had no difficulties and got to their overnight spot easily.
