Hello Everyone! We've been away from the updates for a couple days because there is very little cell phone coverage in the mountains! After leaving Cabela's in Sidney, NE, we headed west into Wyoming and then North into Bridger-Teton National Forest. (It is located just south of the Grand Teton National Park, which is just South of Yellowstone.) We camped for two nights at Granite Creek Campground. Aug 19, 2010 - West Yellowstone, MT to Hoback Junction, WY

Miles Today: 165 Total Miles: 9975 It was 42 deg F this morning. MH was hard to start. Had to give it some extra heat. Little wind and no smoke today. We entered Yellowstone this morning and took the road toward the geysers. Saw Old Faithful do its thing along with at least 1,000 other people. Stopped at several other spots with geysers and bubbling pots. Pretty neat. Saw some buffalo also. In this part of the park what is most noticeable is the regrowth from the fires of 1988.
