The Seven Mile Hole Trail combines all the best elements of Yellowstone National Park into one hike. It starts along the rim of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River, affording a number of alternative viewpoints to the usual overlooks further west. Next it passes through pine forest and meadows for a while, with a good chance of seeing wildlife, especially grizzly bears who live on the slopes of nearby Mount Washburn. 2014 RV Adventure

Jun 30, 2007 - Yellowstone Park Day 1

We were running ahead of schedule so we went to Yellowstone a day early. We were able to book a site for one nite. We were supposed to stay in the campground without water, elec or sewer but were able to get a spot in the same RV park we were scheduled to check into. We started off to Yellowstone and drove through the Shoshone Mountains along Route 14 right into the park entrance. What vistas of the snow covered mountain tops!!! After dropping off the camper and having some lunch, we set off to see what we could of the park. We head east...
