Aug 9, 2008 - Medicine Wheel and Three Springs Hike at the Big Horns

We finally get to see Medicine Wheel. This is an ancient Indian sacred site in a remote area of the Big Horns. Medicine Wheel is located off route 14A about half way between Sheridan and Burgess Junction Wyoming. By the way, 14A has some wonderfully twisty sections perfect for a motorcycle. You follow the signs from Route 14A to a parking area then hike about 1.5 miles up hill to the Wheel. Walking is the only way to get there and you can only visit it during the summer. Jul 22, 2007 - Big Horn Mtns ... Cooler Wyoming

Okay ... we finally made it to a cooler spot ... it's about time. Drove into the Big Horn Mountains today ... via Greybull, a town inhabitated by former in-laws of Bob's. I've been in this town and on this mountain several times in my lifetime ... the most memorable with my wonderful wife Bonnie about 9 years ago when we toured the west and Pacific northwest.
