Up the road, about five hours from Baraboo, is Cable, Wisconsin, where we went to visit Clark’s aunt. She lives on Lake Namakagon -- one of Wisconsin’s beautiful lakes. Our grandson loved spending time on the lake and visiting the area – especially Bayfield, on Lake Superior. There were raspberries to pick. We spent some time in nearby Cable, where we visited the local museums and toured around the town to see the statues that were there. Sitting on the deck, we saw the resident loon and finally heard one the morning we left.
