Tonight, we were in Uniontown for the 7th District Conference. Uniontown is in the Southeast corner of the state. It is not very big (several blocks long) and it is in the heart of the Palouse wheat country, just South of Pullman and Washington State University. The biggest (only) industry is the large grain elevator complex. The drive was beautiful, through the wheat, pea and lentil and canola fields. It takes about 3 hours from Grandview to get there. Rest rooms are far and few between! Uniontown brags about its "world famous sausage," so...
