Aug 1, 2007 - Alpenlite Service Center again

One last quick trip to get the final touches on our repairs. I like this area, but this is ridiculous! It is very HOT and there was even a small wildfire on the local hills to the south. We shopped for great local produce on the Indian Reservation, and paid much less for the fuel at their gas station. I guess the Indians don't have to pay as many taxes on their fuel.

Jun 17, 2007 - Western RV - Union Gap/Yakima WA

Arrived at the Western RV Service Center in Union Gap, south of Yakima. Spent most of our time in the A/C customer lounge enjoying chatting with other customers. We went to the Yakima Elks for a drink, relaxing in the shade & breeze of their patio facing their lush green golf course. There have been high temps (100+) and winds, so the air conditioning of our rig & the customer lounge feels good.

Jun 11, 2007 - Return to Union Gap, Wa. for trailer repairs.

We arrived in Union Gap,Wa on May 29th, staying at the Western RV facility for the night. We were met by our service writer the morning of the 30th. (who was just as nice as could be) of course the CEO of the company getting involved in our case might have had someting to do with it. Also the Manager for the service facility came out to talk to us as well, its amazing how things get done when the big cheese gets into the act. Jun 9, 2007 - Union Gap, Washington

On May 16th we drove up to Union Gap, Washington. Pete & I needed to stop by Western RV (our 5th-wheels manufacturer), we had a cabnet that was seperating from the ceiling that they needed to look at it before scheduling an appointment for the repairs. Well......after talking to the service writer for the 5th-wheels & not getting our questions answered (to our satisfaction) we contacted the CEO of the company, who was tied up in meetings so we figured that we would never hear from him.
