John has fishing on his mind. The crowds are gone but the wind has not subsided. We head to the park in Cascade Locks. John makes an effort to fish. I hike across the bridge to the island on the other side of the locks. I take some pictures. It is too windy to fish. We move on. We cross the Bridge of the Gods and are in Stevenson, Washington. Jul 27, 2007 - Leaving Lewis and Clark RV Stevenson, OR
Friday, 7-27-07. Mileage 66062. We drove 148 miles. We are following Hwy 14 across the southern border of Washington. This is the scenic route. It is a 2 lane road. Most of the time we can see Hwy 84 across the Columbia river in Oregon. It is a divided freeway. We started out from Stevenson. We went off to the Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center.
