Oct 16, 2012 - At the Airport!

The day went smoothly so far, our driver came early to pick us up, we were able to upgrade to premium economy for the flight to Amsterdam, not much of a wait at security so now we're enjoying a glass of Champagne. Ready to enjoy the first day of vacation!

India 2012

Jul 20, 2012 - Seatac Airport

We took Vickie and Sammy back to the airport today. We miss them already. :-( We will be leaving in the morning heading toward Idaho, with a few stops in Washington on the way. We had a great visit and can't wait until the next time. I have finally caught up on the journal updates. Check back later for more from WA & Idaho.

Nov 23, 2010 - Still in Seattle

I'm beginning to feel like a homeless person. When I do get home I never want to wear this outfit of clothing again!! I feel like I smell like the airplanes, plus. But again, such is the "roll with the flow." At present I'm booked for the flight to Kalispell at 12:15 PM today. I found an outlet and have been able to charge the battery in the netbook and now I'm going to do my cell phone. My new motto is "This is not a holiday, it is an Adventure!!!!!" Hopefully the next time you hear from me it will be from Woods Bay, Montana.

Oct 2, 2008 - Day 24 Wenatchee State Park to SeaTac WA

Day 25 (Thursday Oct. 2) Woke up around 7:30 and called Martha to let her know I survived my night alone camping in the wilds of the Cascades. Got my stuff together and headed for the showers. It was looking as if it would rain any minute. It's a good thing I scoped out the showers the night before because it was 50 cents for three minutes. Knowing that, I had to make sure I had all my wash items staged before I turned on the water. It was going to be a challenge to not have to pay a dollar. I timed it perfectly. Even got to brush my teeth....
