Aug 27, 2012 - Flying and Kayaking the San Juan Islands

We moved back to La Conner and spent 7 days there. Caught 9 more keepable Dungeness crabs off Hope Is. John and Vicki Smolke came up for the weekend 25th-26th. I checked out to rent a Cessna 172 at Skagit Regional Airport in Burlington and all 4 of us went on a scenic flight over the San Juan Islands. We landed at Roche Harbor and wallked to the resort. Aug 30, 2007 - San Juan Island

After Haul Out we returned to Roche Harbor on San Juan Island to do more work to the boat to get her ready. We had some painting to do, decks to finish, work on the radios, and tons of stuff to secure and stow. Nick and I were able to take Ziggy and Archie out for a few hikes. They had a blast!!! Our puppies are becoming quite the little buddies. Jul 30, 2007 - Roche Harbor, San Juan Island

Well we made it to the Tug Tyee, which is currently achored in Roche Harbor on San Juan Island. My Mom and Neice, Jaedyn dropped us off and holy crap did we have a lot to drop off. We have set up our state room, we're staying in the Jungle Room with is on the lower level. Its a nice big room and the only one that will fit Ziggy's crate. Ziggy took a couple of days to get sorted here but he has quickly made the Tug his home. We can't take our eye off him though, he is in to everything!!!
