Aug 5, 2011 - Visit to Mom's

Mom was released from the hospital last night. EMS took her home and so today we headed over to help her out. She's now hooked up to oxygen full time so that was a bit weird. Helped her clean the house, and Bill sprayed her weeds, then we went shopping and had dinner of sandwiches from Safeway (side note: the Safeway deli sandwiches were VERY good) and a good buy for a sandwich, chips and soda for $5.00 Back to the Ebrahimi's to sleep. Time is running short before we leave already. Never enough time to do it all.

Aug 1, 2011 - Headed to Tacoma to visit the "in-laws"

After a short sleep, Bill headed off to get some stuff and the kids and I stayed in the RV and hung out. Bill returned, we headed to the storage / shop to get some supplies and then spent the evening with our other Zurbrugg friends. Decided to head toward Tacoma to see Bill's folks and to visit with his brother and family. Left, got about 8 miles and realized we'd forgotten some supplies to work on Popski's shop, so headed back to church. Then realized we'd gone all the way to our storage spot and forgotten the electrical supplies. So, back...

Jun 23, 2009 - Heading South

Just a short followup to our latest entry. The last four days have been spent with Jo's Sister Joann and her husband Richard. The girls were making final preparations for Mom Bruhy's memorial service to be held in Crescent City, CA the end of July. While the girls were busy with their project, Richard and I attended a gun show in the Portland area. Man, guns for everybody!!! Anything from single shot derringers to 50 Cal sniper rifles. Almost bought a 380 automatic pistol with pink pearl grips for Jo; unfortunately knowing Jo's attitude...
