Jul 27, 2011 - Last day in Seattle

Morning clouds supposed to change to partly cloudy later in the day...which it did. Turned out to be a nice day in the afternoon. Drove in and found a parking spot beside the launch point of the "Duck Boat Tours". Parking lots everywhere but they ain't cheap!!! Suppose if we wanted to search and find a place a ways away from the attractions it might be cheaper....but this one cost us $22 for 3 hours!! But it was right beside the duck boats and across the street from the Space Needle so we didn't have to walk far... Got our tickets for the...

Day started out cloudy again....eventually turned partly sunny in the afternoon. We went to the Boeing Aircraft Everett plant which is in Mulkiteo, WA which is about 25 miles north of Seattle. We each grabbed a bag of 5 tempura...

Sunday afternoon....settled in to Blue Sky RV Park in Preston, Washington....a little less than a half hour from Seattle. Signed up for 2 nights this morning...good thing I called...it is full now! Will probably extend another night if possible. Office isn't open until Monday AM. Have dropped the camper so we can travel to and around the city easier. Drove thru part of it on RT. 5 just to take a quick peek before heading here. Trafiic is harrowing compared to what we are used to. I can handle it but don't really enjoy it. Weather tomorrow...

May 1, 2007 - Blue Sky RV Park, Preston, WA

We moved to Blue Sky because of a price change at Lake Pleasant. Now we wait until Trish is done with school on June 18th. Blue Sky is a really nice park with lots of trees and only 47 spaces, 6 of which are kept for travelers and the rest are full time residents.
