Nov 6, 2011 - Final S-curve

The final S-curve did not disappoint. I left Richland, WA and (at Kit's urging) drove the Lewis and Clark Highway (Highway 14) along the Columbia river and Oregon gorge. Taking full advantage of my final top down day. At jouney's end, I was greeted by a be-smocked Kit and my first home cooked meal since leaving my apartment in August. Representing half the reason I moved to Washinton, it was the perfect ending to my 3000+ mile odyssey. The only thing left is a 171 mile drive due north. A trip I intend to take often.

Jul 26, 2009 - Wacamas Lake Races

We ran the Wacamas Lake Races today. I ran the half marathon and Sue ran the 4-mile run. The Half had two nasty hills, one at the half-way point and one at the end. Sue had the same hill at the end of her race. The races started and ended on the football field of Camas High School. I dropped the camera as we were getting out of the car to warm up for the run.
