We spent some time in the Bellingham WA area, beginning our checkout of Washington State as a possible new home. We liked our first impression of the area. Lots of nature. Ocean beaches, mountains, rivers, farmland, and forests. Very few mosquitoes. Large UU fellowship. Lots of organic farms, great farmers market and food coop. We liked being at a more northern latitude, the sun not as strong (not something to hide from), but long days (sunset after 9pm). The weather was warm and sunny during our time here.
