9/2/2014. Tuesday. LET'S GO!! NO, STOP!!!! Ah, the morning air was cool, fresh and fragrant and the birds were just singing their little hearts out as I was preparing for a relaxing morn ere we went to luncheon in South Hill. Suddenly, the birds stopped singing and the morning air fell heavily about my head and shoulders when out of nowhere Kenny came panting over to our campsite babbling about being able to move our campers to sites that abutted the shore overlooking a point jutting into the water. Sep 1, 2014 - Let's Run a Sting!

9/1/2014. Monday. Let's Run A Sting! It sure felt good to wake up late this morning knowing that I wouldn't have to drive for the rest of the week. We had nothing planned today so I sat in my rocker and read my Kindle while Jenny and Anita took the dog for a walk around the park. They discovered a couple of old grave headstones within an old wire fence. Upon further inspection, Anita was able to detect a Confederate flag on one headstone and the initials CSA( Confederate States of America) carved into it. She is going to take a few photos...

Aug 31, 2014 - No Pie for You!

8/31/2014. Sunday. No Pie For You! It's the crack of 8:30am and we are off to the Carolina Cider And Pie Store to partake of their famously fresh pastries only to discover that they aren't open that early on Sunday. I had my heart set on procuring a nice peach pie and the Navigator was drooling for a cherry pie. Maybe on the way back. Making a u-turn to head back to I95, Kenny noticed that my tow dolly hitch support hit the road when our RV went over a dip. When we pulled into a gas station, he asked me if the RV had air bags.
