Jun 17, 2010 - Gorgeous day on the water

From Home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia … Thursday, June 17, 2010 After a good night’s sleep for both of us, we got up at 7:30 this morning. We had planned to spend our day on the lake, but we still wanted to get in our morning walk. We climbed up the steep mountain road in our neighborhood. From Smith Mountain Lake in Huddleston, Virginia ... When my alarm went off this morning, I felt really bad. We have offices in 7 cities in the western part of Virginia, and it's the one time of year everyone comes together in the same location for some training and relaxation. I was the first to arrive at the conference. My condo was ready,...

Last weekend we moved it to a deeper water slip. Charlie and I love being on the water, so we are fortunate that this is only a 20 minute drive from home for us. Smith Mountain Lake is the second largest lake in...
