Today I started out at the Galax pool and was inspired to leave directly from there and drive to Charlotte to see Billy Graham's Library. The library was more than I expected. You can feel God's presence here. The grounds very are soothing and peaceful complete with piped music outdoors. The exhibits are wonderful, and a tasteful tribute to both evangelist Dr. Graham, but to God, with a clear presentation of the gospel. A trip journal gets boring if every page is sweetness and light - so this one isn't - Sunday, June 14 We woke to clear skies and a light breeze ruffling the grass on our hilltop. Our destination today is a town called Meadows of Dan which is on the parkway 30 miles north of Fancy Gap. Our purpose is to find a place to drop out for a few days.
