I just landed all the way from the west coast of the USA, specifically from Reno Nevada. I am now in Virginia. I am planning on having lots of fun in the east. Specifically, learning about early American History. I am also planning on having a lot of fun and getting to know and bond with my grandparents. Jun 6, 2018 - TT Chesapeake Bay, near Gloucester, VA

It was a terrific 130 mile drive from Lake Gaston to TT Chesapeake Bay near Gloucester, VA. We took a “cross country” route from I-95. And enjoyed the peanut, corn and soy bean fields, all so green and lush. When we got to the RV park, we were delighted to find one of our favorite sites available. We quickly backed in to it, before we woke up and discovered we were dreaming. These water, river view sites are rare to find empty. Our setup this time would be extensive and complete, as Dave will be flying to Reno in a day or two and leave...

When I finally got out of the airport we had to drive 4 hours to the RV park were we were staying. We also stopped at the Cracker Barrel to get some great food. I suggest getting there summer special. Thats what I got and it was fabulous. When we got to the RV park I saw for the first time in my life fireflies. They are big flies that fly slowly...

Jun 14, 2012 - TTN Chesapeake Bay, Glenns, VA

We seem to be moving awfully fast or not updating the journal as often as we move. When you see several updates all at once it because the data connection or WIFI is poor and we have to wait to update till we get to the new location. Such is the case now, Forest Lake the connection wasn't good, cause we're so far out in the booooonies. So we had to wait till we stopped here for an update. This drive from Lexington to Glenns, VA was 335 miles! Wow, way over what we normally like to do, but here we are and glad of it. Dave is especially glad...
