Winter storm Helena is still here but the prediction is that temp will be in the 40s on Tuesday so we will probably stay one more nite. Had a nice talk with Brian, a navy man who lives in the south and he recommends taking i-10 instead of i-20. Not as scenic but warmer weather. Plan on staying in Dillon sc at a passport america campground.

We left Glenn's and headed farther south. Our stop of the day was in Quantico VA and the new National Museum of the Marine Corps. This was not here the last time you visited unless you went in 2006 or after. Let me tell you it was FANTASTIC. The architecture of the building resembles the famous flag planting on Iwo Jima at Mt. Suribachi. Inside there were some real to life and full life sized Marine battle scenes. Jun 24, 2011 - Summer RV Trip to New England – (Bowling Green, VA)

Today is a travel day. We packed most of our outdoors things last night. After waking around 7:00 AM, we got showers, finished the rest of the packing and moved to the dump station. We were on the road headed to New Jersey before 8:30 AM. Now we are starting to have a little problem. For this trip, it is the first time we have traveled any distance with our new GPS.
