Dec 13, 2008 - Home Again

After a flight delay we are finally back on St. Croix. Rick picked us up at the airport at 6:00, only 1.5 hrs late, not bad. Now it is time to settle in and get back to real life. What a fantastic trip but we are so glad to be home. We can't thank Rick and Dan enough for taking care of our house through huricanes and all. Rick may never want to buy a house after taking care of ours, our babies are really going to miss him. We will see you all soon. Nov 11, 2008 - Heritage Sites

Oak Ridge, Tennessee Part of my heritage. After Mom and Dad adopted me they brought me up to Oak Ridge where Dad was working as a foreman at Y-12, the plant that produced the uranium used in the Hiroshima A-bomb. This was truly an amazing (if morally debatable) achievement. Within a year of its selection the farmland of the Black Oak Ridge became the 5th largest city in Tennessee with the 2nd largest public transportation system in the US.
