Jul 24, 2019 - North Clarendon VT, Iroquois Family Land Campground

On the morning of the 24th made our way to N Clarendon VT. Iroquois Family Land Campground is very rural and quiet, but best of all it was close to Carol & Lenny’s house in Clarendon Springs. Due to our mechanical troubles, our 3 day visit with them got cut to two. We got to meet their new puppy, Quinn. She is so sweet and cute. Her and Bentley got along together very well. We shared a few wonderful meals, and had a great visit. 2-Ole-Buddies +Bentley

Oct 6, 2013 - Vermont in the rain

Left Sturbridge MA after a brunch with some of the Eaton family. We made many new friends and hope the association plans a family trip to Kent, England...several of us have common ancestors from that area - as does Allen. Headed towards Vermont - no particular destination, but looking for covered bridges and beautiful fall foliage. My 3rd great grandfather William Van S Eaton was born in Morristown VT but we won't go that far. It's been rainy and cloudy so we can only imagine the real beauty of the fall foliage although we are awed by it...

Oct 2, 2009 - Awesome fall colors

October 2- Friday Today we drove 368 kilometers through the most amazing scenery on this trip. The colors were vibrant as we travelled a scenic route suggested to us by the campground manager last night, through New Hampshire and into Vermont. We travelled through White Mountain National Forest, stopping at Mount Washington Auto Road parking area for a view of the Presidential Range of the White Mountains and the gorgeous mountainside of color.
