We enjoyed a few days in the Binghamton area. We ate at a couple of old favorite restaurants from the 1980's, and drove by Mike's old apartment, and the old Singer-Link building. On Sunday, we enjoyed a drive to Watkins Glenn and enjoyed wine tasting and a rainy view of Seneca Lake. We really enjoyed our campground, Belden Hill, about 13 miles east of Binghamton. We had a nice view of two ponds and views of the rolling hills in the distance. Just across the road from the campground was a nice golf course and we played 2 rounds. Monday, we...

Jun 10, 2011 - Vermont fishing quest

A fantastic morning in Vermont! We got to cook our own breakfast! Something I was beginning to miss. We only had eggs and a can of corned beef hash that we picked up from a mini-market the night before. After breakfast I relaxed for a moment in the bedroom and just looked out the window towards the back of the house and just took it all in. Open field, tall grass blowing, trees in the distance, birds, and bugs too. It was all beautiful. Lauren packed a light lunch for us of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Jun 9, 2011 - Thanks Aunt Judy!

Our day began with a plan to head to Boston. But flexible as I looked through our travel books as we drove on to see if we wanted to stop sooner. We headed out of Canada but definitely want to return. I really feel we missed a lot at this stop and want to return to see more. But it was a very expensive stop too. As we were into our drive not far from Canada, I got a text from my Aunt Judy Cardella who lives in Jersey offering us her ski home in Vermont if we would like to use it. Weill, I thought I'd love too! But tonight would be the night...
