On Sunday, we drove from Wilmington, NY to Grand Isle, VT. Just outside Wilmington, we drove the road toward Whiteface Mountain; then, from the parking lot near the top, we made the short hike to the peak. From there, the views of Lake Placid and the surrounding hills were fantastic. In Grand Isle, our campsite overlooked Lake Champlain with great views of the sunset.
