From 1000 Islands, New York we proceeded to Essex Junction, Vermont to meet up with 35 other RVs to attend our clubs region 7 rally and to spend the 4Th of July. Other than raining every day we had a great time, with some absolutely great people. One of the highlights of our trip was a visit to the Hope Cemetery in Barre, Vermont. Five couples met at Massena in upstate New York at the Massena International Kampground. We enjoyed dinner under the tarps while renewing our friendships. This morning we packed up our trailers and started the convoy to Essex Junction. We decided to take the ferry across Lake Champlain. If the timing had been better, I’m sure all five rigs could have taken the same ferry. We split up and took two ferries to make the trek.
