We did not purchase the campground WIFI so I went to Walmart to see about using theirs. They have a Dunkin Donuts there and had a small table to the side. I spent about an hour there early before they were busy and was able to upload all those photos from yesterday. That worked. We stayed at the Eagle today and Ray worked most of the day on the electrical. The fans for the bathrooms and kitchen just won’t work from the touch pads but do work manually. He’s very frustrated and I hope that M&M will be able to find the problem in January....

2018 Trip

Aug 11, 2018 - Haskell Free Library

We saw some interesting things today, must be Vermont Wicked. First we went to the Haskell Free Library and Opera House in Derby Line. As we approached there were garage sales all along the road and a festival was going on in the park. This is a building that is most unusual. It was built in 1908 and is right on the international border so that part for the library is in Canada and part in the US. We entered on the US side but crossed a line into Canada to get the the counter to pay for the tour. The library is ornate and there are 4 types...

2018 Trip

Aug 10, 2018 - Derby

We had a beautiful day for driving and it was interstate that was helpful. It was very warm. We had a problem right out of Epsom, the lights came on in the Eagle and would not turn off. We stopped at the first rest area, I called M&M who referred me to AmericanTechnology - they make the switch pads. A man in technical support was on the phone for a long time with Ray working to get our issue resolved. Finally Ray was able to get those lights to go off and we were on our way.
