The morning of August 14 we left St. Johnsbury and drove 110 Miles to Horseshoe Acres Campground in Andover, Vermont for a three night stay. The next day we drove 4 miles over the mountain to historic Weston which is the home of the famous Vermont Country Store. Kathy wanted to visit this store because they carry products that cater to the New England experience and old country charm. They also carry many products that were popular many years ago but are very difficult to find today. While there we had a nice lunch at the Bryant Restaurant...

Aug 6, 2009 - Andover VT

On the way to Vermont we went through Troy NY and tried to find a convent school that I visited a girl friend 50 years ago bu it all gone. In Vermont I found a really nice camp ground that had three streams running through it and pond full of fish to feed and tease Guinness. The temp went down to 52 and the sleeping under the full moon was great. In the morning we played ball in the field so my boy wouldn't mind riding a lot today. Going to Dublin NH to see where they publish the Farmers Almanac.
