Jun 19, 2016 - Snowville, Utah

You know there is another saying. It is “bad things come in three’s”. Yep, we had another incident today that almost topped the two from yesterday. But, first let’s start with this morning. We got a late start but, were on the road by 11:00. After all that happened yesterday I was in a funky mood. Let’s just say I was feeling pretty sorry for us and was not good company. We drove through Salt Lake City and Provo. The countryside as we left the big cities was lovely. Lots of cattle grazing and green fields. It was a pretty drive. We drove...

Apr 11, 2016 - Snowville, UT

Leaving Richfield, we headed out I-70/US 89 to Salina and took US 89 to Utah 28 to I-15 to I-84 and into Snowville. There is STILL construction in and around Salt Lake City. This is my least favorite route to travel through, but made the most sense. We arrived at Lottie Dell RV Park in Snowville early and rested for the rest of the day. This isn't much of a park, but we had beautiful views of the snow covered peaks.

Sep 24, 2012 - Snowville, UT

Saturday, September 22, 2012 found us finally in Utah. We are staying at Lottie-Dell RV Park in Snowville, Utah. This city isn't named for all the snow they get, but for a gentleman whose last name was Snow. This park is a cash only park at $30.00 a night. Not a bad park, but laundry room definitely could use some cleaning. Sunday morning we took off early (Ken & Connie, I know you will find that hard to believe) and headed to Golden Spike Historic Site. Dale wanted to be there by 10 AM as that is when they bring out the locomotives for a...

Apr 21, 2010 - Cheyenne, WY to Snowville, UT

Here are pictures on the I-80 from Cheyenne, WY to Snowville, UT. The camera did not actually catch all the colors, alot of beauty out there. The pictures probably didn't come out as well as they could have due to the photographer. Quite a variety of weather from major fog early in the morning to sunny to raining to sunny to raining again. Everytime we drive over the plains, I think of the pioneers and their travels. Jack says he knows they didn't complain as much as I do. We saw a cowboy rounding up the cattle. We also crossed the...

Apr 30, 2008 - Wow, we drove all the way across Idaho

Well we drove across Idaho today. We did a 12 hour drive! I hate to say it but there really was not much to see. Alot of farm fields and that was about it. We ended the drive at 830 pm seven miles across the Utah border in a town called Snowville. I must say that the town was called Snowville and stood up to its name, it was cold and snowing!

Sep 8, 2007 - breakfast, day 2

We have decided that in the spirit of Alton Brown, we will not eat at any chain restaurants. We brought dinner from home last night so breakfast this morning is our first dining out experience of the trip. Did we choose wisely you ask. I think not. We are in the bustling town of Snowville Utah and we have two establishments to choose from. At first glace, Mollie's appears quaint and homey so we decided to try it out. Shortly after walking in we made our first mistake. We stayed. Mollie's was established in 1949. Mollie, who we believe was...
