Just outside Zion, my wife decided that she wanted some local rocks, and of course on the return road to home, we were passing several businesses selling unusual rocks. Stop we must and looook. We stopped in several establishments, and of course we had to add to her collection. I was starting to feel like I was in a Lucille Ball movie, you know the one that she had every rock from every stop on the road. I believe that she was coming from Zion on that trip too. Our carrying capacity was definitely much better then her TT.

Mar 31, 2012 - Leaving Pahrump & Tour of Las Vegas Neon Museum

Thursday, March 29, 2012 - Leaving Pahrump Time to get moving, so I checked out of my resort in Pahrump, stopping to fill up with gas and groceries before driving to Las Vegas. I knew it would be a lot easier to do both of those before leaving, as Las Vegas is spread out and has a lot of traffic. This way, I could drive directly to the casino and park. Oct 20, 2008 - Day 42 Hurricane UT to Rockville UT

Day 42 (Mon, Oct 20th) Packed up early and made the short drive to Zion. Were immediately awestruck by these surreal looking mountains shaped in layers of light pink to deep brick red. Hopped on the shuttle bus and got off on the second of 7 stops where we hiked up to the Emerald Pools – about 3 miles straight up but worth it!
