Bluff is a charming, very small town in the middle of the Colorado Plateau. It was originally settled by Mormons and the solidly built stone houses sprinkled around town are evidence of their early residence. Now it seems to be mostly headquarters for people exploring, hiking, fishing and hunting the Colorado Plateau. The area around Comb Ridge is full of Anasazi Ruins -- in fact it was a photo trip exploring these ruins that first led Margaret to this area.
