Apr 3, 2009 - Millard County

Millard County is named after Us president Millard Fillmore. In the early20th century, Millard was 2nd only to tooele in the number oof head of sheep. Today, alfalfa is widly grown - about 3/4th of the state's alfalfa seed is grown in Millard. In 1867, Brigham Young asked Ira Hinkley to build a fort along Cove Creeek.

We went to provo it was so fun!!! The indians lived along the east side of the lake and used fish for their main food source. Provo is the the county seat for Utah County. Brigham Young Universityand Utah Valley University. There is a Y on the mountain for BYU. Utah County is often referred to as "Utah or "Happy Valley". The County Couthouse is an historic building built in 1919. .Bridal Veil Falls .Utah Lake .Heber Valley Railroad .Prinville Museum of art .Seven Peaks Water Park . Mar 5, 2009 - Summit County

Summit county got its name from the mountains around it. It was created as a county in 1854. There spiritcial leader was medicine man. Mining was the main attraction in the early days of Summit County. Park city is world renown for its snow. Lots of movie stars come to Utah/city to see new movies and catch the spotlight. Tourists come to watch movie stars – Star Gazing. Summit county is located in the east part of Salt Lake City. All county goverment offices are located in Coalville. The largest city is Park City. Feb 19, 2009 - Travling to Cache County

Today we went to Cache County. Cities in Cache County are...Logan,Wellsville,Little Bear,Smithfield,Richmand,and Nibley. We went snowboarding at Beaver Mountain. .Utah State University .Logan LDS Temple .Logan Tabernacle .Hardware Ranch .Camping .Eccles Theater-opera and plays .Beaver Mountain ski resort We went to all these places they were so fun. These are all in Logan but basicly in Cache County.

Feb 13, 2009 - things that we learned about in Bear Lake

today we are in Bear Lake the water is Crystel blue,It is so pretty. we went to Pickleville playhouse and saw a play it was verey good. The pioneers settled bear lake. Rich County is located in the far north east corner of the state. It borders Idaho and Wyoming. We drove through Logan Canyon and then a lake appears it was a very light blue lake that is sea through, it makes you feel like your at the Caribbian Sea. randolph is the County Seat for Rich County Randolph is often the coldest spot in the State of Utah.
