Yesterday we left Stonewall about 9:45 - we weren't in any hurry. We drove thru Hill Country all the way to Austin. After Austin we passed lots of ranches - cattle, hay & cotton - & lots of oil wells & drilling. We were on the Texas Brazos Trail for awhile & did cross the Brazos River. Then finally we hit the Texas Forest Trail into the East Texas Piney Woods. We're staying at the Marina Village in Trinity, TX. Mar 22, 2013 - Camping Among the Pines/Trinity Pines

Because our time of camping together with Cheryl and Jerrel (Two fulltime RV'ers in one family...what are the chances?) had been cut short, we decided to join them in Trinity, TX at a Christian Camp where they also had an RV park. Mar 26, 2009 - Into East Texas

. After saying so long to our friends and neighbors Ted and Sue, we pulled away from Canyon Trail RV Park at about 8:30 this morning. It was overcast but fairly warm as we drove the short 7-mile stretch of I-35 before turning onto country roads that would be our path for the balance of the day.
