We have traveled 1130 miles since we left home on Tuesday. We are camped for two nights on a lake halfway between Austin and College Station. I had tried to make a reservation at a campground in College Station about six weeks ago, but that turned out to be impossible as tonight is the first home game of the Texas Aggies (Texas A & M). We all know that Texans love football. A mere 104,000 fans are expected to show up tonight. Mar 8, 2010 - Rocky Creek COE Park

Hello everyone....Well we have moved to our next destination...we are now in Rocky Creek Park on Lake Somerville, in Somerville Texas. We are south of College Station. This is a Core Park. We are camped right on the edge of the lake. There are lots of birds and ducks out here. We even have a coon that comes at night and tries to get into our cooler. The first night he broke the bird feeder when he jumped up on it. But I really think he is trying to get to our Rum Punch in the cooler...Bad raccoon...Anyway we are really enjoying the...
