Traveling with Carol, Lou & Beau ......... We awoke to light rain which turned into quite a storm, with heavy winds and pouring rain. We delayed preparing to leave until it stopped raining, which was about an hour later than we planned. Our trip to Texas seemed like a short one. We arrived at North Lake RV Park in North Lake and were met by Andrew, then Jana, Aubrie and Brendan caught up. It was great seeing them - lots of conversation, then went to Chili's for dinner. Jun 10, 2008 - Launch for Cancun MX

We left Big Springs early this morning and arrived in Ft Worth about 12:30pm. The idea of an afternoon of rest was shattered by the discovery that the GPS unit had stopped working. Seems I have spent the better part of my life the last few weeks trying to get all my toys to work. We have become very dependant on the GPS. Fortunately, we have stayed at Northlake RV in Roanoke several times and had no problems getting here. When we leave it is another can of worms. All the phone calls and plugging and unplugging didn't solve the problem, but...
