May 3 to May 7 We traveled from Livingston to Queen City, TX today which is 10 miles south of Texarkana. We are at the Rocky Point COE Park at Wright Patman Lake. We had to wait a few hours to get into our site #10 on the waterfront because the park was culling dead trees. And you guessed it; they were working on sites #B5, B6, B7, B8, B9, and B10. May 23, 2007 - Cass County Park, Wright Patman Lake
It was nearly noon by the time I left DeGray Lake Resort State Park. It didn't matter, though, because I didn't intend to drive very far today. The trip was only 118 miles. I stopped in Texarkana at the Texas Visitor Center to find out where I could get some ink cartridges for my HP printer. Happily, there was an Office Depot just off I-30 at the very next exit. Nine cartridges cost over $91.00. Gasp! I've got to find a cheaper source! On a happier note, Daisy's lunch at the Flying J near Texarkana was "only" $2.979 per gallon, which was...
