We had a great couple of days exploring more of the coast of Texas. We drove from Padre Island over to Mustang Island, about 200 miles. We wanted to check out the campgrounds in the area and decide where we will move to next. We looked in Rockport, Fulton Beach and all over Mustang Island and Corpus Christi. We wanted to visit Mustang Island State Park but it was closed for repair. There is still a lot of damage in the area from Hurricane Harvey. A Very Merry Christmas to you!!! Wanted to share a little of our adventures in 2016. January found us relaxing in Llano Grande RV park just outside of Mercedes, TX. It gave us an opportunity to bird the Rio Grande Valley for an extended period, and while we were there, we visited with the Volunteer Coordinators at several places where we might volunteer.
