We made a short excursion to Odessa, TX for some groceries and gas. before heading to Monahans Sandhills State Park yesterday. When we drove to find the site I had reserved, we found out it was on a hill making it difficult to level Winnie. I went back to the Ranger Station to see if I could change sites. Since it's spring break in West Texas, it seems that most of the sites would be taken for the 2 days we are here. Mar 11, 2017 - If the Weather is Bad, It must be Texas
Today started our to be a beautiful day as you can see from the sunrise pictures in this post. We spent most of the day relaxing and reading under the picnic shelter at our campsite. I even took a nap. After I woke up, I was thinking about preparing dinner. When I went outside, I noticed dark clouds to the northeast that soon turned black and you could see a faint rainbow.
