Jul 16, 2009 - Home at last! The gardens were alive and amazing.

We were so excited to get home both of us curious as to how the gardens would look. We were so pleased to find the Tropicana 4 foot tall and blooming a brillant orange. Every thing lived and we even had enough home grown tomatoes on the vine that we made a mess of Fried Green Tomatoes . What a lovely welcome home!

Digging for A Dozen

Jun 26, 2009 - On the Road again! 1:30 pm

Woke up this morning got everything ready to go. Loaded the Camper and stopped off by Texas Best Smokehouse to say goodbye to our daughter Brie. She looked soooo cute in her cowboy hat. This is her first job. It has a western theme and the employees all wear cowboy hats. We are headed to Anaheim California to compete in the International Competition for Barbershop Harmony. We are hoping to win our 12th Gold Medal. We will be taking I-40 out of Amarillo. We will stay the night at our place in Pampa tonite and then hit I-40 tomorrow morning...

Digging for A Dozen

Mar 1, 2009 - The Day is near.

We will be leaving on March 6, 2009 for Oklahoma city for Eric's Concert with the Vocal Majority. On the 7th we start our trek to Nevada . We are going to see our niece Erica Shalane get married. We are so Excited!!!!. We bought a 2006 Fleetwood Pioneer Travel Trailer to make the trip. It is still like brand new. It should be roomy enough for the two of us. We will leave from Oklahoma and head north to Kansas then Nebraska. At that point we turn and go west young man! We are thinking it will take us about 3 days to get there. So hopefully...
