Sep 19, 2012 - home sweet home
Wednesexday, September 19, 2012 We are going home today! It's been a good trip, but there's noplace like home. Our adventure included both obstacles and blessings. Aug 29, 2012 - road trip
Wednesday, August 29 Our adventure began today. Friends arrived in Mico. We had drinks and appetizers outside. We ate inside the smoked pork dinner-yum. Mico is the small town that we use as an address. It’s close to Medina Lake, which is virtually empty right now. The water in it is only 16% of what it should be. The drought has really hit it hard. Mico is so small, it doesn’t even have one traffic light. It has a volunteer fire department, no Dairy Queen or school, mostly retired rednecks.

Those two couples will be here tomorrow and we'll sight-see in San Antonio to begin our adventure. A bar-be-que is in the works, too. We plan to leave home on Friday. We should be away for most of September. We'll enjoy getting out of the heat. We're packing clothes for hot and cold...

These lots are close to Lake Medina where we have been boating several times. Eventually we decided not to exrecise our option on this property. We already have our hands full with a new house in California!
