Sep 19, 2012 - home sweet home

Wednesexday, September 19, 2012 We are going home today! It's been a good trip, but there's noplace like home. Our adventure included both obstacles and blessings. It definitely was a learning experience. We left our campground in Mountain Home this morning at 8:09, after saying goodbye to our fellow travelers. Our expected drive was only 90 miles. Aug 29, 2012 - road trip

Wednesday, August 29 Our adventure began today. Friends arrived in Mico. We had drinks and appetizers outside. We ate inside the smoked pork dinner-yum. Mico is the small town that we use as an address. It’s close to Medina Lake, which is virtually empty right now. The water in it is only 16% of what it should be. The drought has really hit it hard. We should be away for most of September. We'll enjoy getting out of the heat. We're packing clothes for hot and cold...

Jun 6, 2008 - Laurel Canyon Estates

Helen and I looked at some property here in San Antonio. We even put a deposit down on a two acre lot in a development called "Laurel Canyon Estates". These lots are close to Lake Medina where we have been boating several times. Eventually we decided not to exrecise our option on this property. We already have our hands full with a new house in California!
