We are currently tucked in a lovely site at McKinney Falls State Park in Austin, TX. So far this week we have enjoyed gorgeous weather, fun company, and lovely walks and outings. On the way from Kerrville to here we stopped at Buc-ee's for lunch. I really appreciate their clean restrooms, fun food selections (yes... my weight suffered this week due to Beaver Nuggets), and easy access parking. Apr 22, 2012 - Getting Lost is Half the Fun

We got everything together, hugged everyone goodbye, and got on the road about ten. It was not a particularly adventurous drive except that Gertie GPS kept trying to take us places where the road in front of our eyes didn’t agree with the one on Gertie’s map. Couldn’t find any of the restaurants that Gertie suggested, but we did find a shady parking lot and made our own lunch and continued on our way.
