It rained quite heavily overnight and since this is tornado season, we didn’t sleep well with the weather so unsettled. All was well in the morning, although quite wet. I got out my rainboots to walk the dogs and get to the arena. There were a few more big dumps of rain and some thunder during the early part of the day, but by mid-afternoon it had cleared off and was a lovely 71 degrees. Apr 11, 2009 - WAG Agility Trial, Day One

We had a great day of agility fun today – except for Reba, of course, who had to settle for cuddles and short walks. Midas earned qualifying runs in Jumpers and Tunnelers, the latter completed his Novice Tunnelers title. He went in the tunnel instead of the dogwalk in his Regular run, but otherwise was fast and right on. I had to run him today again since Fran’s back is still sore. Apr 10, 2009 - Kerrville, TX to McGregor, TX

Yesterday we did laundry and housecleaned in the morning. In the afternoon we made another trip into town to try to see the Schreiner mansion but it was once again closed. So we did a bit of shopping before heading back to the park where we went to the pool for a while. It was really hot today, about 100 degrees F and quite windy.
